How recruiting pitches work in College Football 27

Every recruit in CFB27 cares about three things. Playing time, staying close to home, a shot at the league, stuff like that. The game calls these motivations. There are 14 of them. Every pitch you can make covers three motivations too, and there are 20 pitches. When your pitch lines up with what the kid actually cares about, it lands. When it doesn't, you burned a week of hours for nothing.

How to use the Mind Reader

Pick the star rating. Then mark what you know. If you found out he wants playing time, hit Yes on Playing Time. If you know he doesn't care about academics, hit No on Academic Prestige. The cards narrow down to the pitches that still fit and show how likely each one is. Once three motivations are marked Yes, only one pitch can match. That's your answer.

Why the numbers change when I hit No

Saying No knocks out every pitch tied to that motivation. The pitches left over split the odds between them. So the numbers go up because there are fewer pitches in the running, not because anything else changed.

Where the odds come from

The percentages come from thousands of real CFB27 recruit profiles, broken down by star rating. A 1 star and a 5 star with the same motivations don't lean toward the same pitch, so pick the star rating first. If a Yes button is greyed out, no recruit at that star rating has ever matched that combination.

Why this is the #1 recruiting tool for CFB27

You don't have to unlock all three motivations to get an edge. One Yes or a couple of Nos is often enough to get the odds above 50 percent. Spend the hours on the pitch, not on scouting.
